It's no secret that the future of coffee...
as we know it is relatively uncertain, so it's important to do everything we can to preserve it. For many of us its become a hobby or a passion, and for some of us it's our livelihood. It pays our bills. So whenever I hear about someone trying to innovate in the coffee space I'm all ears, and in the cases where I can actually get some, also tongue. This brings me to the topic of this weeks post, Atomo Coffee.
Now if it isn't obvious by the name, and honestly, I don't think it is. Atomo is a lab grown "coffee". Now, I put quotes around that because it contains no actual coffee, not one single percent. According to the company its essentially designed from the ground up using natural and up-cycled products to bring you all of the wonderful aspects of your favorite bean. They claim to have found a way to reproduce the "big five"; aroma, body, color, taste, and caffeine.
Thankfully I was lucky enough to snag a set of Atomo's launch edition cold brews to taste before they quickly sold out, and I don't think you'll want to miss this one. So hit play on yer video above and let's taste some "coffee".
