This one is a walk down memory lane...
because the humble Baratza Encore was my very first home coffee grinder, and even as I progressed in my coffee career its blend of affordability and performance kept it at the top of my recommendation list. Literally anytime I was asked by someone considering taking the leap into home brewing it was the first thing on my list of must-haves. Just ask my sister or partner, who both have Baratza Encores sitting happily on their kitchen counters. But this brings me to the topic of this video, the newest addition to Baratza's lineup, the brand new Encore ESP.
No, this grinder doesn't have extrasensory perception, although admittedly that would be pretty cool, instead the ESP stands for espresso. The original Encore wasn't capable of grinding fine enough, which has lead to many having to prematurely upgrade, replace, or get a second grinder to keep up with their caffeination needs. But with the arrival of the Encore ESP, that issue could be a thing of the past, and make it one of the most affordable all-around coffee grinders on the market.
Without any further fanfare, it's time to put it through its paces and see if the new Encore ESP will live up to the originals reputation, so hit play on the video above and let's brew this!
