As a coffee lover...
I've collected a whole grip of gear over the years. If you can brew on it I likely have it, or its on a long list I keep on my phone of future buys. But one thing most of them have in common is they tend to be hyper focused on one specific form of brewing, but the Goat Story Gina boasts three in one. It's capable of brewing a crisp, clean pour over, a dense immersion brew, and even a Kyoto style slow drip cold brew. It also comes with an integrated scale that connects via Bluetooth to their smartphone application that guides you through the entire brewing process.
All of this sounds good in theory, but as I've come to realize more is not always better. Having something focused means you can count on it to do a really good job on that one thing, but as you add more functions it can complicate the outcome. So in today's video I'll be putting the Goat Story Gina through its brewing paces by testing out each of the functions as well as the accompanying smartphone application.
