Coffee Time – My Morning Espresso

A new espresso machine landed on my bar...

and I can't think of a better way to get aquatinted and familiar with it than a good old fashioned workflow video as I make my morning espresso. This machine is the brand new Sanremo You. Its unique body design is reminiscent of Sanremo's flagship commercial machine, the Cafe Racer, and its dual boilers, pressure profiling capability, and overall performance gives you the power to produce a cafe quality espresso beverage at home.

Speaking of a cafe beverage at home, in this video I'll be making one of my favorite, but rarely seen cafe orders; the one and one. For those unfamiliar, it's a double shot of espresso split into two drinks. A single shot of espresso, and most commonly a small milk drink, like a macchiato, cortado, or single cappuccino. It's not only a great way to get the best of both worlds when trying out a new coffee shop, but also a great way to utilize the Sanremo You which only came with spouted portafilters.

Anyway, the whole point of these workflow videos is to create a relaxing experience, so if you're ready to make a morning espresso with me hit play on the video above and let's brew this!
